If any of us were to be leading Ghana right now, I am sure our top priority would be solving the erratic power problems that have hit the country and is affecting companies and small scale businesses.
Many times people talk about “misplaced priorities” where our current government is concerned and it is true, for instance huge sums are spent on football when these amounts could have been used to work on the energy crisis. Whilst companies are laying off workers and small scale businesses are collapsing because of the power issues, it seems that is not the priority for our ruling government.
During the state of the nation address, President Mahama promised to ship in 116 buses to help boost transportation in Ghana but the truth is, is transportation a problem in Ghana? The first batch of the buses have arrived.
