I’m disappointed in Sarkodie - Castro’s father

July 2015 will be exactly one year since Theophilus Tagoe aka Castro mysteriously disappeared.

For 9 months since his disappearance, some colleagues and close friends of Castro have not even visited the family of the Artiste,233 times can authoritatively report.

Father of missing Castro, Mr. John Eshun has expressed disappointment in some Ghanaian Artistes who have not visited the family since the incident happened to show solidarity. Mr. Eshun is said to often express the disappointment and the popular name he mentions is Sarkodie.

“Everyone knows how tight Castro and Sarkodie are, not even the songs they do, but how close they are but Sarkodie has not even visited Castro’s family since the case happened. The father is so sad about it and he always expresses that to his friends” a source disclosed to 233 times “Even during the Ghana Music awards, the Artistes didn’t even mention Castro except Charter House who remembered him with a tribute.

None of the Artistes even remembered him” Castro’s father is quoted to have sadly revealed. “Though there are many names the man (Castro’s father) mentions but he mentions Sarkodie more because of the relationship of him and his son. Not even a call from Sarkodie to the family to ask how far with the search and the latest on the case” the grapevine further revealed.

Mr. John Eshun is hopeful his son will be back soon.

Naaa waa oo! that's a shame. Quite surprising how people as far as Castro is concerned could be forgotten so soon. Hmm very painful indeed, "Egya Fa Was S3m ma nyame." I still have hope that one day the legendary UnderFire is gonna surface again, cos' nobody knows what has happened to him and his beautiful friend. As it said nothing happens without a reason!

Well, i have a different view about this whole situation, Catro is dead and gone, at-least that's what we assume happened, however it does not mean the lives of others must be tuned and built around Castro as if its by force to visit or something....

Former president Atta Mills died, how many times have you seen Presidents Mahama, Rawlling, kuffour, or even Npp or Ndc officials or parliamentarians talking about him or even visiting his family house. the lives of Sakodie and others should be left alone. The dead is gone and there is nothing you can do change that.... the father should look forward to living his own life and stop acting as if its by-force to respect the dead.

If the father thinks castro is not dead and is hiding somewhere and someday might resurface, why all these fuzz about his friends and how they haven't shown at the family house. its not important now, let the family declare castro dead and you will see how many artists will show up at the funeral including Sakodie.

I still don't understand why Castro's family just don't want to accept that Castro is dead and gone but rather still on the perception that they are searching and hope Castro will come back soon... I can't imagine how someone can get drowned and go missing but yet his body does not resurface on the water and still perceived to be somehow alive...

Yeah, lets call a spade a spade and stop deceiving ourselves that it is a shovel when we know its just not a shovel but a spade.... Or maybe Mr. John Eshun, Castro's father, perfectly knows Castro is alive but yet doesn't want to disclose to Ghanaians .... Other than that, i don't see why someone can disappear for about 9 months and still no proof of his whereabout or nothing showing that he still exist...

I think Castro's family just don't want to give up on him yet but i don't think is best because it will always remind them of their pain..... I guess its about time Mr. John Eshun comes out publicly to declare to Ghanaians that his son is dead and i think the attendance of the Ghanaian Artistes to the funeral will show whether they loved Castro that much or they just pretended to love him...

If Mr. Eshun knows Castro is alive, i guess its fair to disclose the news to Ghanaians and stop getting disappointed in the Ghanaian Artistes especially Sarkodie for not visiting the family to show Solidarity.... Otherwise, he should accept that Castro is dead and arrange for his funeral and see how many of these Artistes he is disappointed in will show up.....

Let the dead stay dead and i think its fair for Castro's family to let Castro Rest In Peace

Hmm death is not an easy tin to accept..when sometimes very close ones are involve, we turn to live in denial of the truth., and I think thats wat exactly is happening to his family.. What is making dis more problematic is the body which hasnt been found... and you knw our part of the world such tins mean somtin due to our beliefs..

but I believe what will it take for sarkodie to show a lil concern; at least he worked with him before., our tradition makes it look different if such tins are not done... But could it also be Sarkodie is also living in denial bcos there is no body??... lol

at least if the the body was found and a funeral rites are been done...this all would have been laid to rest.., and the circumstance surrounding it, is not makin tins very easy to grasp... two people gone missing and none body has been found.....hmmmm serious..
