@mimms94 There are various ways around a password protected file. The best way out is to have the correct key or password (that's obvious). That's your best option. The other options available have to do with software. There are a variety of software that may help crack the password. This is usually done by predicting or using bruteforce.

Personally what I use is Passware Forensic Kit. It comes in very handy. Instructions for installation and use are included in the setup file. Download it, install on your pc, run it. When it opens click on the Recover File Password tab. A window will open for you to browse to the location of the file. The software does the rest.
