Definition: A screenshot is, in short, a picture of your screen. It can be used as a presentation or act as a guideline for a path route to take. Screen shots can also be used to authenticate something such as an image or post.

Total screenshot

1- Press at the same time cmd+shift+3

*You should hear a camera noise.

2- With Mac OS9, the picture is directly saved on your hard drive (.pict.)? With Mac OS X, the picture is saved on your office (in PNG)
3- If you want to change your picture format ( PICT doesn't fit with all pictures hosts), you have to double-click on the picture that will be opened in a software. Then, select the folder  save as and change your picture format (PNG or JPG)
