The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has revealed that he really felt sorry when he received the news that Sir John has been voted out as NPP scribe.
General Mosquito, as he is known, said the news really ‘made me sad’ since ‘Sir John is my friend.’
“…I must confess, that I felt very bad at the news…because he is my friend,” he said.
Lawyer Kwadwo Owusu-Afriyie was relieved of his post at the 2014 Tamale Congress of the NPP.
He placed second to the current Secretary, Kwabena Agyei Agyapong.
Sir John and Mosquito became household names in Ghana during the tenure of the NPP scribe as they both were at each other, especially during the 2012 elections.
