Director, Leila Djansi has announced the main cast for the new web series, ’Poison Bait’, she is directing for Iroko TV and young Ghanaian actress, Marie Humbert leads some of the continent’s crème de la crème on the project.
Among them are Adjetey Anang, Mary Remmy Njoku, Gideon Okeke, John Dumelo, Ama K Abebrese, Naa Ashorkor Mensah, Grace Omaboe aka Maame Dokono, Edward Agyekum Kufuor and a host others.
‘Poisoned Bait’ is led by Marie Humbert, who plays Ariel, a literary agent and her client, Betty, (Marry Remmy Njoku) whose book on marriage creates just a position between her own marriage and Ariel’s marriage to Henry (Adjetey Anang) which is threatened by the presence of her ex-Bernard (Gideon Okeke).
Shooting began two weeks ago at locations in Accra including the Spintex.
