Kim Dotcom has announced that he is developing a brand new cloud storage platform, which could launch next January with a name that "will make people happy." At the moment, the entrepreneur has multiple legal cases underway in several jurisdictions: he’s fighting extradition to the US in New Zealand, while at the same time fighting a US government that accuses Dotcom of copyright infringement, conspiracy, money laundering and racketeering.
After Dotcom lost his MegaUpload, launched and then left Mega file-hosting site, many believed that he had left the file-sharing space forever. But now it turns out that the lure of data storage is just too much of a temptation for Dotcom, who has just made a surprising announcement: “A new site is in the making. 100gb free cloud storage.” He also said that it was too early to go into details of specific features for the new platform, but it is known that the new platform will enable users to sync all of their devices and have no data transfer limits.
