Fuel prices increased by NPA 36639617

There has been an upward review of most petroleum products by the National Petroleum Authority (NPA).

The review announced on Saturday, May 16 and expected to take effect from Sunday, May 17 sees a nine per cent price increase for most of the fuel products.

Premium, for example, sees a nine per cent increase from Ghp305 per litre to Ghp333 per litre.

Kerosene also sees the same percentage increase from a previous GHp292 per litre to GHp319 per litre.

Gas oil (Diesel) goes up to GHp324 per litre from GHp297 per litre.

Though there are no changes to the prices of RFO and premix fuel, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) increased by nine per cent from Ghp264 per kilogramme to GHp288 per kg.

Unified and Kero Mines recorded 4 per cent prices increases.

Some Ghanians are so naive to see that this president have failed to see the tears in our eyes. and continues to spend millions of taxpayers money to buy luxurious cars for Ministers. Ghana paa nie

Simply insensitive to the plight of the Ghanaian. They refused to reduce the prices when they had to and now they are increasing it for what? I sense a fuel price demo on the way. Where did we go wrong? Fire burn them in a professional way.

We sleep in darkness for days and yet electricity bill is increasing.
We have all seen a drastic reduction in fuel prices in the world market and yet we didn't enjoy anything out of that. We didn't complain.
Now, our only option apart from dumsor is being hiked beyond our reach. What have we done wrong. Crying or Very sad

If Ghana was your own property , would you have giving it to President Mahama and the NDC to manage it. A word to the wise is in the north

These are all lessons to Ghanaians and Africans in general. This what you get when you vote because you are an NDC, NPP, CPP, etc. This is what you get when you vote because someone is from your region, this is what you get when you vote because someone gave you 50 cedis to vote for him. Let's realize that you can't spend that amount for four years and hence make the right decision when the time comes. Let's simply make our choice next year based on who we think has a better long term plan for us.

Our government really does not hear the cry of Ghanians as we are suffering now a days so badly. yet they are increasing fuel. There's no enough electricity but yet, prepaid gets finished within days. You buy 30 cedis of prepaid and you cant use it with your fridge on cos it will take away all the credit, now that we are using our generators too as our only help dues to dumsor too , fuel too has being increased.. eeiii, then how can we survive
2016, Ghanians please open your eyes ooooh
