With fees already agreed, Ghana forward Jordan Ayew has completed his much-expected move from Olympique Marseille to fellow Ligue 1 side FC Lorient.
The 22-year-old passed his medicals on Monday and subsequently signed to a contract which will keep him at the Stade Yves Allainmat – Le Moustoir until the end of the 2017/18 football season.
Sealing his exit from boyhood club Marseille, Jordan incidentally has joined the club against whom he was handed his Ligue 1 debut during the 2008/09 season.
On December 16, 2009, he came on as a 63rd minute substitute for Spanish striker Fernando Morientes and scored five minutes later.
Ayew went on to play a total of 111 Ligue 1 matches with 14 goals for the former French Champions.
He has been handed the number 11 shirt for the upcoming season.
